With Powtoon you can create interactive presentations, animations and explanatory videos. It is web-based, so you don’t need to install an app. It offers a variety of animation styles, including cartoons, infographics and whiteboards.
For example, students could create high-quality animated video presentations to present their knowledge about a particular topic. Teachers could create their own powtoons to supplement their lessons. There is a wide range of ready-made templates (also in the free version) with animations, live action videos, images, designed backgrounds, soundtracks and motion graphics to choose from.
For the introduction to the Simply Digi pilot phase, we created a short animated video in Berlin using Powtoon. For me, this was a Powtoon premiere. In fact it was (1) great fun, (2) intuitive and easy to handle and (3) free of charge. And what do you think of our “Project Powtoon”?
